Brief Career Details
Ian Ball was previously an Advocacy Trainer with the Law Society (Solicitors’ Higher Courts criminal and civil rights of audience course 1994-1998). He has been an external examiner for the College of Law since 2001.
He was employed as a Crown Prosecutor by CPS Birmingham and Coventry 1998-1999, prior to joining chambers.
Crime
He is experienced in all areas, acting both for prosecution (Grade III) and defence.
Ian is currently studying for an LLM in Environmental Law at De Montfort University.
