Bruce Drummond has a wide experience in commercial litigation and negotiation having developed a multi jurisdictional practice. He has extensive experience in media and entertainment law, general company law and matrimonial finance matters, in particular where the issues involve company assets and share disputes.
Having practised in Birmingham for some ten years, he left the UK in 2001 to become head of litigation for a firm in the Caribbean specialising in off-shore litigation and asset protection. In a natural progression from this, since 2003 he practised as an Assistant Attorney with Fitzmaurice and Seigel in New York and Connecticut before undertaking and being awarded a Masters Degree in Media and Comparative law from Pace University, New York. Although primarily based in the Shrewsbury Annex, he is able to travel throughout the UK and overseas.
Bruce has appeared in a number of high profile cases, including Weblinks v Cable & Wireless (WI) Ltd which has set a further precedent regarding the constitutional position of monopolies. Of note he represented Silicone Isle Ltd in the widely publicised case brought by Cinar Corporation Canada for recovery of over US$65m. More recently he has appeared in a high profile case concerning the PRS and PPL and regularly advises a number of International Recording Artistes on contractual and publishing matters as a member of the Commercial and Media Law Group C.M.L.G.

Representative clients have included: American Airlines, Merrill Lynch, Silicon Isle Ltd, Cingular Wireless, Anguilla Electricity Company Limited (ANGLEC), Bank of America, N.A, Bank One Investment Management and Trust, Caribbean Commercial Bank (Anguilla) Ltd and Scotia Bank Anguilla Limited. He also appeared in the reported case of Re S (1995) FLR CA.
