National Safety Symposium  Peter Cooke, our Head of Regulatory, delivered the legal update lecture to the National Safety Symposium held at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Conference Centre on 6th September 2011.  This is the second consecutive year that Peter has been asked to deliver this important address to the Symposium, a 2-day annual event organised by IOSH (the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).  An audience of early 150 health & safety practitioners from both public and private sectors received the presentation, which covered coalition government reviews in the health & safety field, recent legislative changes, and some of the most interesting recent case law, including the country's first corporate manslaughter conviction and appeal."
