Brief Career Details

Andrew Wilkins has an almost exclusively criminal practice now but a background in family, personal injury and general common law. He has experience of Courts Martial and prison disciplinary hearings. Andrew joined Chambers in 2008, having previously enjoyed a busy practice in London and the Home Counties, including the prosecution of numerous Flying Squad and Serious & Organised Crime Agency cases.

Andrew lives in Gloucester and is keen to serve solicitors in the Gloucestershire/Worcestershire area.

 

Crime

Acting for both prosecution (Grade III) and defence, Andrew has a broad experience in all areas of crime, including armed robbery, aggravated burglary, kidnap, arson with intent and child abduction. He has dealt with cases involving young, vulnerable and disabled witnesses including allegations of rape and historic sexual assaults. He has had conduct of cases involving supply, cultivation and importation of class A/B and C drugs, deception, fraud, forgery, perverting the course of justice, making indecent photographs of children, prohibited weapons and explosives as well as escape and bigamy.
