Professional Regulation

Andrew Faux has a specialist practice in the field of professional regulation.  He has experience of both prosecuting and representing professionals at both first instance and at appeal before a variety of professional bodies including: The Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal, The General Teaching Council, The Nursing and Midwifery Council, The Institute of Legal  Executives, The Bar Standards Board and The Independent Safeguarding Authority.

Employment

Andrew conducts employment cases on behalf of respondents and claimants and has experience of dealing with unfair dismissal and all types of discrimination cases.  He also undertakes non contentious work – reviewing and drafting employment policies and advising on the conduct of disciplinary proceedings.

Crime & Regulatory Offences

Andrew has experience of defending a wide range of criminal and regulatory offences: from food safety matters and evasion of duty, through to serious assaults and drug dealing.
