Civil

Tim accepts instructions in a wide range of civil and commercial cases. His commercial experience includes advising and acting in cases involving contractual disputes, consumer credit, debt recovery and landlord and tenant matters.

He is also frequently instructed in a range of personal injury claims which include issues concerning the liability of employers, occupiers and public authorities.
He has substantial experience of road traffic accident cases, including disputes concerning credit hire, low velocity impacts and staged accidents.

Tim seeks to bring a pragmatic approach to both advice and litigation. He recognises the importance of approachability and seeks to maintain close communication with those who instruct him at all times. His aim is to ensure that those whom he represents feel fully informed and comfortable at all stages of the court process.

He will accept instructions on a CFA basis in appropriate cases.

Employment

Tim is instructed to advise and represent both employers and employees. He has experience both of applications and final hearings at the Tribunal, and of advising upon employment related cases in the civil courts.

Family

Tim also accepts instructions in private children, cohabitation and ancillary relief matters. He has a particular interest in trusts of land and has advised and represented clients in matters concerning constructive trusts, fraudulent declarations and the administration of estates.
