John Mason

Regulatory Law

Over a period of 20 years, John Mason has acted for regulatory bodies, local authorities and Defendants, in criminal courts where the subject matters of the prosecution were environmental regulation and protection, and enforcement of planning and development regulations.

John has represented regulatory bodies and applicants/respondents in tribunals and public enquiries where the subject of the hearings concerned the enforcement of environmental regulations and the grant and revocation of licences for activities relating to environmental protection, and in matters concerning the enforcement of planning regulations and the grant of planning permissions.

He also has significant experience of hearings before sporting  disciplinary bodies and  is a panel member of the Sports Disputes Resolution.
